Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the ValHub platform, operated by [Legal entity] (ABN [ABN]) (“ValHub”, “we”, “us”). By submitting a quote request or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What ValHub is

ValHub is a coordinator. We connect owners of commercial property with independent valuation firms on our invitation-only panel and help you request and compare quotes. We are not a valuer and we do not prepare valuations — the independent panel firm you appoint does that. Panel firms participate by invitation; there is no public sign-up and no paid placement.

2. Submitting a request

To use the platform you must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, and you must have authority to request a valuation for the property. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, and to keep it up to date. We retrieve your request using the secure access code we email you — keep it confidential, as anyone with the code can view your request.

3. Quotes and no obligation

Quotes are provided by panel valuers, not by ValHub. We present them to you; we do not endorse, guarantee or verify any quote, price or turnaround. You are under no obligation to accept any quote. Where we ask you to confirm your intent to proceed, this is a courtesy to the valuers' time and does not create a binding engagement or require payment.

4. Fees

ValHub is free for owners to request and compare quotes. If you appoint a valuer, you pay the valuer directly for their services under your engagement with them. When an engagement proceeds, the valuer pays ValHub a platform fee — this does not add to the fee you pay the valuer.

5. Your engagement with the valuer

If you appoint a valuer, the valuation is carried out under a separate contract between you and that firm. That firm is solely responsible for the valuation, its scope, professional standards, timing and any advice it gives. ValHub is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the valuer's work, conduct or results.

6. No professional advice

ValHub does not provide valuation, financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and nothing on the platform should be relied on as such. Information about matters like Division 296 or capital gains tax is general in nature. You should obtain your own professional advice for your circumstances.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or unauthorised requests, or impersonate another person.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe anyone's rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent the platform to solicit or transact with panel valuers outside it in breach of these terms.
  • Interfere with, probe or disrupt the platform, or attempt to access data you are not authorised to access.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, and its content, branding and software, are owned by ValHub or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose. You retain your rights in the information you submit, and grant us the rights needed to operate the service and coordinate your request.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly given, and we are not liable for the acts, omissions, quotes or valuations of panel firms, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of doing so.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these terms.

11. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available here. We may also change, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform, or decline or remove a request, where reasonably necessary. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State/Territory], Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
